What is the manual version costing you?

Take one repetitive task. Move the sliders. This is arithmetic on your own inputs, not a promise; we check the real numbers with you during Discover. If the result is worth a conversation, send it with your brief in one click.

How the arithmetic works

The calculator multiplies four numbers: the people who do the task, the hours each of them spends on it per week, fifty-two weeks, and the share of that work a system could do instead. That gives hours handed back per year. Multiplying by the loaded cost per hour turns it into money.

Loaded cost means what an hour of that person actually costs the business: salary plus benefits, tools, seating and management overhead, divided by productive hours. For most Indian office roles that is somewhere between ₹250 and ₹1,500 an hour; for specialists and for teams outside India it is higher. If you do not know yours, salary divided by 1,800 hours is a reasonable floor.

Share we can automate is the honest lever. Few tasks are 100% automatable; the last part is usually judgement, exceptions and relationships. Seventy percent is a typical first-version result for data entry, routing and reporting work. Twenty to forty percent is realistic where every case needs a human decision.

What it leaves out

  • The cost of the build and of running it (cloud, AI usage, messaging). We put both figures in the proposal, so you can see the payback before you decide.
  • Speed. A lead answered in thirty seconds instead of four hours is worth more than the hours saved, and this calculator does not try to value it.
  • Errors. Manual work has a rework rate; automated work has a different one. Discover measures both.
  • What people do with the time. Hours handed back are only worth the number shown if they go to work that matters.

What people usually automate first

  • Lead handling. Capturing, tagging, routing and first reply, on WhatsApp and from forms. See WhatsApp AI Sales and Marketing & Lead Systems.
  • Data entry between tools. Orders into the ERP, leads into the CRM, invoices into the books.
  • Reporting. The weekly numbers somebody assembles by hand every Monday.
  • Follow-ups and reminders. Quotes, payments and renewals that are chased from a sheet.
  • Document processing. Reading invoices, forms, KYC documents and contracts into structured data.
  • Answering the same questions. Support, pre-sales and internal policy questions that documentation already answers.
Questions

About the numbersand what we do with them.

Is this an estimate of what you will charge?

No. It estimates what the manual work costs you today. What a build costs depends on scope and is quoted fixed after Design, once we have seen the workflow.

How accurate is it?

As accurate as your inputs. Most people underestimate hours and overestimate the automatable share. In Discover we time the actual task with the people doing it and replace the sliders with measured figures.

What if the task is done by one person for one hour a week?

Then it is probably not the first thing to automate, unless it is on the critical path (a lead reply, an approval). Pick the task with the most people, the most repetition or the most costly delay.

Does sending the numbers commit me to anything?

No. It prepends a one-line summary to the brief form below so we know the scale you have in mind. We reply within one working day, and you decide whether to continue.
